My sauce is like water! Could the 5 cups of water be wronge?? I added another 6 oz. of paste but it didn't help. I will have to go shopping tomorrow to get more to try and salvage the sauce. :(
And I followed exactly!

O my God this was so delicious! Even cold the meatball and sausage were so good. I brought some to work for lunch and my co-worker ate my food. I had to go get me something else. Great job!

I am making this today for the second time. It takes awhile, but it is worth the wait and effort. Everyone truly loved it the first time around. This is now in the "famile recipe" cookbook.

Not really, but I sure felt like one making this sauce. The whole house smelled as incredible as the sauce tasted! It did take a while to make, but it was fun and pretty easy. I think the recipe in the Food Network magazine says it serves 6 or 8. 6 or 8 what? I froze enough to have several more meals...and I can't wait for those meals!

Ok, despite the long cooking time on this one; this sauce is truly amazing. You need a lot of pots unless you have big ones to start!! I browned all the meat in my cast iron pot and then had to move it all to a much larger one after that for the simmering. I only simmered for 2 hrs with lid on and then took lid off, left all the meats in the sauce and simmered for one more hour. It was awesome! We polished off all the pasta but I have enough sauce with meat leftover for another dinner!
