the girls at the office cook the best cookies. they use the kitchen at sears law 18 truman. Swedish style ginger cookies are the favorites. Mike and Steven help order the ingredients. We will start the holiday at the irvine office. searsatty. our budget is approved by cpa and attorney.

This is a great cookie, even w/o the cardamom (it's an acquired taste!, and so easy to make in the food processor. After buying this cookie at a local market for ~$12/lb., I decided I needed to find a recipe for them. Since finding it @ FoodNetwork.com, I have been making this recipe for ~3 years and take them to baby showers, baptisms, birthday parties, etc. Using different colored sugars you can make them occasion-specific, and they're always a hit, and gobbled up quickly!
While baking them last year, we lost power due to a snow-storm. I was so disappointed to think of throwing them out, but left the cookies in the warm ovens and since they don't normally rise or spread, they turned out just fine! No one was any the wiser!
Thanks Food Network for always being there for me! I

How do you figure these are for Rosh Hashanah??? No one loves cookies more than me but do you really think they belong in a list of recipes for Rosh Hashanah?

I have never been one for baking and decided to bake a bunch of treats for my boyfriends parents this year for Christmas. This was the easiest and best recipe to follow. It was hit with everyone who ate them too. Good recipe -great cookies!

I really like the taste of these cookies and they look pretty. They're perfect with tea; and they're just sweet enough with a pleasant spice taste to be different from so many other cookies - I added them to my holiday cookie gift tins this year. I made them with chopped roasted pecans on the outer rims (egg-washed the logs and rolled in nuts before cutting and baking. And I'm happy that the logs stored well for a few days in the fridge before I rolled them in nuts and cut them for baking - a perfect make ahead of time dough recipe. Thx foodnetwork for this recipe and to other reviewers for their advice. This one's another winner for our family!

I used cinnamon and a splash of ginger instead of the cardamon. cardamon can be too strong for some so be careful. otherwise,,, yummy
