Tried these cookies for a change of pace cookie as they recieved such high marks from previous bakers. My family and friends did not like these cookies. I will not make again.

I made these for my son's international holiday feast and they were a big hit. very tasty cookie and while the prep time is a bit long, overally very easy to make and cooks up well. He loved baking them with me. Definitely a must for your holiday.

This recipie was very easy to make. i recommend freezing the dough for easier cutting though. Great to send to school for younger kids. Very tasty.

These cookies made a very tasty and unusual addition to my holiday cookie trays. With a new family member who has a connection to Sweden, I just tried them on a whim, and they turned out fragrant, lightly sweet, and held their shape. If it's your first time using cardamom, don't be put off by its savory scent from the jar. Just trust that it will add depth and fragrance. A combination of orange and lime rind worked well in place of the lemon rind as well.

It was great working with the dough. This little cookie has become a hit at my school. This is the first one to go.

People snatched these cookies. We didn't think the cardamom would work, but everyone enjoyed the unique flavor. It DOES have an unusual flair, so it's not quite a sugar cookie substitute ... but it's not supposed to be one.

I loved the flavor of cardomom in these cookies!! They aren't too sweet either--they're just right. There were a few little spots on the cookie logs that the sanding sugars wouldn't stick to, which bugged me, so maybe next time I would use a little egg wash to help the sugar stick better.

Delicious cookies, but even BETTER the next day. I took them to a gathering of friends, and they gave 5 stars. Not too sweet, almost like a shortbread cookie.
