I made it in a wok, and would recommend eating it with brown rice. Delicious! The pork was a little tough, but that was probably my fault!

Substitute ketchup for Sriracha and Rice Vinegar. It is alright, but might be better with small chicken or tofu pieces.

The whole time my husband and I were eating this dish we kept saying how much we liked it. Tastes exactly like take-out. YUM!

After reading other reviews I made a few changes- I added more veggies (broccoli & red pepper, and replaced one of the tbsp of ketchup with 1 tbsp sriracha, and used brown sugar in the sauce rather than white. It turned our well and I served it with rice noodles. Wasn't the BEST asian recipe I've made, but it was pretty easy and low budget. I would definitely make it again for a weeknight dinner.

A very easy, tasty and healthy meal. Now that I've tried the basic recipe, I'll probably make some changes as some others have suggested - add fresh ginger, eliminate the ketchup, add a little more soy sauce, try some different vinegars, sesame oil, additional or different veggies. But it is a great basic recipe for a healthy family dinner!

I did not like this recipe at all. The sauce was too much. Knowing the stuff that is in it made it more gross. Ketchup? This did not taste like sweet and sour sauce at all.

It was ok but my family thought it was bland. It may be because I'm used to the bold distinct flavors of Thai food, none-the-less, it wasn't good enough to put on the permanent menu in my house. It was definitely a quick recipe.

DEEE-LICIOUS! Great Recipe. The only thing I changed about it was that I added 3 tablespoons of chili sauce. I tossed the pork with 1 tablespoon and used the other 2 in the sauce. It added a much needed kick.

So quick & easy and more importantly, delicious. I added 1/4 teaspoon of sesame oil & paired it with some white rice. My husband got creative & we ended up making sweet & sour pork two ways. He's a bit of a foodie so I liked his version better but this recipe is certainly a good one. I would add julienne sliced red pepper for a healthy addition. Would recommend to make!

This was a very yummy recipe, but I agree with other reviewers-- not your traditional sweet and sour pork. It was very flavorful, though, and super good on top of rice.

My one recommendation would be not to skimp on the quality of the ingredients. I was torn between getting a cheaper, generic pale peanut oil, but eventually settled on a more expensive deep amber roasted peanut oil. It was completely worth it. The result was a delicious underlying peanut flavor that did a lot to back up the "sweet and savory" aspect.
