This is a great option instead of plain potatoes. Tons of flavor and great texture. Dessert-like.

This recipe was just ok... felt it wasn't quite sweet enough... maybe if the pecans had been candied first? Didn't have much overall flavour either...

I thought this slightly more complicated recipe would be a great alternative to my traditional plain one. I normally just boil the potatoes and cream them with some butter; put brown sugar, butter and pecans on top and bake. Well, this one took more time because of baking the potatoes, it was more difficult, and it tasted AWFUL. It was like a bad pumpkin pie thanks to the spices in the potatoes.

Easy to make. Very light & fluffy. Added some maple syrup for taste. Topped 1/2 with pecans and 1/2 with marshmallows. Everyone loved it!

I usually think of sweet potato casserole as a dessert because of the sweetness and marshmallows. This recipe is different. It's not too sweet and it has no marshmallows.
We will use this recipe throughout the year.

We enjoyed this sweet potato dish for Thanksgiving 2006 and even my aunt who does not like sweet potatoes loved this dish! One change that I did which made this recipe even nicer was process the ingredients in a food processor to make it nice and creamy before baking. Yum!

Not boring at all like the usual sweet potatoes we make on Thanksgiving. The spices add a great taste and I added tons more pecans.

This was my first attempt at making anything sweet potato related. I made it for a Thanksgiving lunch at my work and it was a total hit!! Everyone LOVED it. I added a topping before baking (1 stick melted butter, 1/3 c. flour, 1 c. pecans, 1 c. brown sugar as someone recommended from another review. It was awesome!

My family went to the bottom of the dish on this one. It's just right as a side dish since it is not too sweet. The pecans add a pleasant crunch.
