A fantastic tartar sauce! I didn't have cornichons so I substituted with dill relish. I also added one minced garlic clove and 1/2 teaspoon of yellow chili paste.

This tartar sauce is the best I've ever had. We used Polish pickles instead of the cornichons. The capers make the recipe, delicious!!

I didn't have capers and I used dill relish instead of cornicons and it was great!! Just exactly the way tartar sauce should taste..yum.

I didn't have cornicons so substituted sweet relish. Was overall very good. This recipe incorporates the must have combination of tangy-sweet-and-slightly-salty. Can be adjusted for preference also. Great recipe!
