I just finished making this & it is now in the fridge. I only used 2- 8oz tubs of marscapone (it was $4 a tub & I am cheap ; and then added 1 pkg of cream cheese. It thickened up nicely and looks oh so good. Can't wait til dinner tomorrow so I can eat it. :

SO good! Reminded me of something my Italian grandmother made for me as a child.

i feel that the cream is not thick enough. I just put in in the refrigerator so hopefully the tiramisu doesn't turn into a soggy mess.

LOVE this recipe. Super easy to make and tastes great. I personally found the brandy flavor to be a bit strong, but I am only 16. I think that next time I will use all espresso instead, but otherwise wonderful dessert!

YUM is all I can say. This stuff was amazing! Everyone that ate it raved about it. I made one small change though. I used 1/2 cup Godiva dark chocolate liqueur instead of the brandy. I was able to get everything into the 8x8. It came slightly over the top but the plastic wrap held it in place until it firmed up.

The brandy was not a problem for me in flavor, but the whole thing was soggy and there was way too much cream for the recipe. Definitely needs some adjustments. Other tiramisu recipes on this site are better. There's just too much moisture.

This was awesome! I made this for family coming over for the weekend and they are all chocolate lovers. I served this with some chocolate covered fruits and everyone was really happy. I had to substitute pound cake for the ladyfingers, but it still turned out wonderfully. But like another reviewer said, my 8x8 couldn't hold it all. Next time I'll be using a 9x13.

I wish I had a photo of everyone's face after their first bite to show you how wonderful this recipe is. I loved it. Thought that 32 oz of marscarpone was a lot at first. But I am telling you its worth every bit of cheese. If you do not like a strong brandy flavor cut it in 1/2. Me, I prefer it. My boyfriend did not. That was ok. All the more for me. LOL.

*****Stars! Easy and wonderful! The best tiramisu I have every made or enjoyed anywhere! A sinfully delicious piece of heaven! One problem, the standard 8 inch square baking dish is not deep enough to hold three layers!

Just made this for the BF for valentines day. It looks beautiful and the creamy part is wonderful - but it has far too much brandy! Cut the brandy in half or leave it out and I would give this 4 stars.
