Followed this recipe exactly, except substituted the cloves for some cinnamon. They were phenominal! Easy and so, so, so delicious!!

This cookie is so soft and chewy when it comes out of the oven. It just melts in your mouth. Make sure to store in air tight containers.

I substituted the cloves for cinnamon due to what others had stated in their reviews, and I am glad I did this. These cookies didn't turn out how I was expecting. They are okay, a little to much chocolate for me, and I LOVE chocolate. I probably will not make them again, although they were pretty easy.

I've taken these to several different functions and even when I left them in the oven a couple minutes too long, they still came out great!

I don't bake often (Read: at all and I can handle these just fine.

These cookies were my first cookies that I ever made from scratch, they have been a big hit! I've sent them to school with my first grader at his holiday party and I got lots of rave reviews. Before making them I was afraid they would be too chocolatey, but they are perfect. I wouldn't change a thing about this recipe.
