The turkey and the gravy were soooo good. The only thing i did different was put the turkey in the brine overnight. We had our Thanksgiving meal at lunch time, so that was the only time I could do it. That was the only adjustment I made to the recipe. It turned out perfect. Thank you for the great recipe. The turkey and the gravy were very easy- it took very little time and ingredients with great results. I will do this one again!!!

This dish exceeded my expectations. It gives the turkey a perfect natural tasting flavor. I would recommend it to anyone trying to do their own turkey for the first time. It comes out as a complete success.

What a great recipe! The first time I ever made a thanksgiving turkey. Did the brining for 4.5hrs. Had 6lb turkey breast and it took 2.5 hrs in the oven. The turkey came out moist and well seasoned not bland at all which was my concern. The gravy also tasted good, altho a little too salty for my taste. Next time I will reduce the salt on the gravy.
    Thanks Tyler!

I have to admit, I use my own gravy recipe and I would admit to liking stuffing at Thanksgiving better than the turkey itself, but I tried this recipe for turkey breast and now I can enjoy the turkey as well as the stuffing and gravy. AWESOME

I was just floored when I tasted this slightly sweet, slightly salty fork-tender turkey breast. I'll never make turkey any other way. It browned perfectly and was so easy to make.

After trying to get a flavorful, juicy turkey year after year [for many years!], I can finally say "Yes, I can cook a great turkey."

    Thanks!!

Dave, the amount of broth to use for the gravy is not specified in the instructions but is understood to match the quantity stated in the gravy ingredients list, which is 4 cups low sodium chicken broth. Hope this helps!

I want to make the gravey, but it says to add the stock, but does not tell how much stock to add.
