Saw this recipe in the Food Network Magazine this month. They were delicious! I brought them to a birthday party tonight and they were all gone in a bout 35 minutes. I made the patties smaller so I was able to stretch it out to make about 25 patties. Also, could not find the mini pita pockets anywhere so I used a cookie cutter to cut out pieces from larger pita bread pockets.
I am not a huge fan of mint, and neither is my fiance. However, we both agreed we will keep the mint because it really compliments and brings out the flavor. I never thought I would say I would like mint in my burger, but it worked!
I would really like to have an idea about the calorie info on these...they seem fairly healthy!

I have never had Turkey Burgers before, but I have to say these were delicious! I made them for my boyfriend & I last night, and they looked so impressive considering I didn't have to spend that much time in the kitchen preparing them. I did not add the mint to the cucumber relish (I find it's too overpowering and I don't think it short-changed the flavor one bit. I made my sliders about 2 to 2.5 inches wide and .5 inch think and it came out to exactly 16 burgers. Highly recommend this recipe!!

We made our own hummus - roasted yellow peppers, cumin, and a dash of mexican seasoning for the mixture so that it was not too spicy for the kids, especially the picky ones. They didn't know anything about the hummus in the burgers until they loudly said it was the best burger they ever had.....and they always thought hummus was disgusting - they were pretty shocked to learn that the hummus was in the burgers.

These burgers were outstanding! They didn't dry out and had a the perfect amount of seasonings. They looked pretty fancy to boot too, and they were so easy to make. I can't wait for our next burger night.
