I also substituted chipotle in adobo sauce for the jalapeno. Absolutely delicious! I will definitely make these tacos again. I also thought it was easier to cook than the intermediate rating.

We used leftover shredded dark turkey meat for this recipe and it was a great. We made it as is, but next time I would follow other recommendations and maybe add a chipotle chili to give it a little more depth of flavor.

I have made this about 5 times now. I add a chopped chipotle pepper in adobo. I also like to use chicken breast. After poaching and cooling....I shred the chicken breasts by hand and let it cook with everything until heated through....I prefer it over ground meat.

My children and friends beg me for these. So much healthier than a ground beef taco and so very tasty.

This taco was tasty. It was probably the best taco I ever had. I liked it so much, it made me smile: A direct quote as dictated by my seven year old daughter.
Fantastic tacos! Left out the jalapeno, used a 1.25lb pack of ground turkey and whole can of fire roasted tomatoes, and did not fry the tortillas. Delicious, can't wait to make them again!

Best tacos I've ever had. This recipe works great with beef as well.
