We had this last nite at a dinner party (still 100+ here in Arizona it was great. As suggested, add blueberries last so they dont crush. We even drank the juice. YUM

A refreshing dessert. My only advice is toss watermelon and blueberries with simple syrup in separate bowls. The blueberries got crushed and I had to pick them out.

FANTASTIC. This was so refreshing and super easy to make. We used Splenda instead of sugar and mint from our garden. I am making some of the simple mint syrup to keep on hand (for mojitos, etc. Served it on clear bowls and it was a company dinner hit. Thanks.

Easy, light, a perfect summer dish, next time we will add strawberries. We used Zylotal in place of sugar which worked perfectly. A keeper for sure.

My daughter's birthday is the 4th of July. She says this now is her favorite birthday cake! Be sure to use only 1/4 cup of sugar and 1/4 cup of water like the recipe says. The watermelon creates it's on juices so you don't need to add more liquid.

Why not do all of that except for the sugar? Leave it out of the dish. Fresh and wonderful.

Perfect for a 4th picnic or any time. I'm watching my weight and this is a terrific treat. Plan on keeping the ingredients on hand for a quick add-on to an evening meal when it very warm. Try it with yellow watermelon or any other melon.

Fantastic recipe! I added a little bit more water since I thought 1/4th cup would be too little. Don't do this since you will have too much juice at the bottom. Still- it was amazing and fast!
