I thought it looked easy, and it was easy to make. I imagined it would taste great! It has potential to taste great. There was way too much salt in the recipe. The first night I made it we could barely eat it. But I got a great idea: I fried up the leftovers the next day (to warm it up and I served it on a bed of spinach and sliced tomatoes with an egg fried over-medium on top. The eggs didn't need salt, the tomatoes didn't need salt. The heat slightly wilted the greens, and everyone loved the meal. Next time, I'll omit the salt while cooking add it to taste at the table.

Maybe I need Food911 to come by my house and teach me how to cook rice pilaf. I made the other 2 dishes from this episode and they turned out perfect...but this one was awful. I followed the directions to a tea and it did not turn out. I had to throw the whole thing out-there is no way it could have been eaten.

This was sooo good! Even my son liked it. My stove must not cook like the one on the set though and mine was done but still had a lot of juice. I could not taste the lemon, but the flavor was excellent! We will have this again.

My family wasn't sure about this rice dish, until they tasted it! They were doing back flips over their chairs. I'm not kidding! I made all 3 dishes from the episode and they just kept talking about all of the flavors of each one. They wanted to know what was in each dish. And took home all leftovers!
