The taste of these is good but I had trouble with the batter. It was VERY runny. I had to almost double the flour in the recipe to reach a consistency that could easily hold together and be flipped in the oil. Unfortunately I did not have an onion in the house so I lost flavor there. I'm thinking topping these with some kind of tomato sauce would probably be good too!

Very easy, delicious recipe. Next time I'll try adding some fresh herbs or spices to the recipe. Its a good "base".

These were great. very tasty. I will be making them often , I didn't change a thing. Next time i might spice them up with a little cayenne or jalapenos or add some of the things other reviewers mentioned. do you think these might freeze well after they're cooked?

These were extremely tasty and my three kids loved them. I thought halfway through the recipe that there was no way these could turn out because my batter seemed so runny. I added more corn meal to adjust the consistency. Once the batter was in the oil it binds very well so don't be concerned if your batter looks too liquidy. Made these as a side dish with apple sausage Mac and cheese. It was a great dinner!

Absolutely delicious! Super easy to make. This makes the perfect inexpensive summer side dish. I used yellow zucchini so for some colour added green onions and topped with some sour cream. Stunning. Thank you!
