    I've always liked the more cakey cookies, so this was just perfect. I followed the recipe exactly; the candy bits are definitely not optional. I read below that someone had trouble with the coffee cooking the eggs. I simply folded in the eggs in one area of the bowl, and mixed in the coffee in another area of the bowl. Then I mixed it in together, and everything came out smoothly. This may be obvious, but I thought it could help someone. I will definitely make this again!!!

    I can believe how wonderful these cookies are. I made them as one of my 8 recipes for X-mas cookies and they were the favorite from everyone that received them.
