    these cookies were so easy to make, so easy to roll out, my family just loved decorating them for the holidays.

    I followed this recipe to the letter and found the dough to be too crumbly, very much like pie dough. I had to refrigerate it for several hours before I could roll it out. It was also very tough and the cookies were not tender.

    We have been using the same sugar cookie recipe my entire life (40+ years. When I couldn't find the recipe in my mom's recipe box recently, I downloaded this one and tried it, worried that it wouldn't be as good. Now I'm glad that I didn't find that recipe, because this recipe is simply the best tasting cookie!
