    I'm not much of a baker but decided to try my hand at gingerbread men for the holidays. There was nothing hard about this recipe and the cookies are delicious. The problem I had was actually getting "gingerbread men". The dough is very sticky and it was impossible to cut a cookie out of it. I tried flour but it didn't work...what is the secret? Finally I just made regular round cookies which were great but I was disappointed not to have gingerbread men to decorate.

    This is the best gingerbread cookie recipe I've tried. My daughter and I look forward to making them every year! We even use this recipe to bake a gingerbread house.

    Used it for a GRIL SCOUTS! taught baking techniques! i paired it with building a ginger-bread house!

    These gingerbread cookies are the best I have ever made. They take a little while to make but the taste is sooo worth it. My son asks for these all the time now!

    These gingerbread boys are terrific. I had never made gingerbread cookies before and when I saw how easy this recipie looked I thought I'd try it. They turned out great and I couldn't keep my little boy out of them! This recipie was easy to follow and it took almost no time at all with the exception of chilling the dough. I would recommend this recipie to anyone.
