My family loved these mini burgers so much that they filled up on them and couldn't eat the main dinner!

Excellent room for variations! Scrumptious! Some have voiced this too difficult due to the use of Filo Dough. Allow me to expand on the difference between puffed pastry and Filo.
Puffed Pastry is a thicker dough than Filo, that is easy to use & repair, & is ready to bake without any prepping. It automatically puffs up when heated through.
Filo Dough are delicate paper thin pieces of dough that requires one to stack layers & sometimes brush on melted butter in between these layers. It's used in recipes such as baklava. You can get creative with Filo dough however it requires patience and a delicate hand.
This recipe requires the easy to use PUFFED PASTRY not the FILO dough, Shauna. I suggest you try this recipe sometime using the required Puffed Pastry & without fretting as it's so easy to use a child of 5 could master it.
This recipe was the cat's meow with all my guests and is going to be a regular appetizer around my home. I liked adding fresh bacon bits inside!

It might be easy if you've worked with phyllo dough before, but i hadn't. it dries out really quickly if you don't get the warm butter on it. i found this process stressful. also, they must be served warm or hot. they fall flat when cold. i would not make this again but it has inspired me to figure out another recipe to make the concept work.

I really didn't like this. The Puff Pastry was just too much pastry. They looked cute, but I would not make these again. We actually threw 6 of them away. Couldn't stand the thought of having them for leftovers.

Loved this recipe and its really easy to make. My husband grills the burgers which adds a little different flavor. Great for a football party!

These were wonderful. Here in south Texas we have a spice that we all use called "TexJoy" I substituted the seasoning but the mini puffs were INCREDIBLE!! BOTH YOUNG AND OLD LOVED THEM!

This recipe is absolutely delicious! I even tried it with ground turkey instead of ground chuck, and it turned out wonderful. The seasonings combined with the onion tucked inside puff pastry makes this recipe a delight!!

This was so much fun for us to make and was such an awesome twist to a boring cheeseburger. It has a really great taste and I'll never use regular buns again!
