My grandprents brought me over some fresh peaches from the family peach trees, not knowing what to do with so many of them my fiance suggested I make peach cobbler, I found this recipe and made it, everyone loved it, the topping was perfect, plan on making it again, its a great fall dish

I used this recipe for a catering job and it was absolutely fantastic (for 64 people! I took the suggestion of reducing the cinnamon in half to bring out the flavor of the peach and it was a huge hit! Not too "biscuity"--the brown sugar in the batter and on the top give it a crumbly sweet taste and nice brown color.

It's a great recipe for those of us who love the true cobbler with that gooey cake-like texture. I followed another reviewer's tips, which I'll repeat, which is to increase the amount of peaches (I used about 5 cups instead of 4, and not to pre-bake the peaches. There's enough moisture and baking time that the peaches give up their juice and are plenty tender without becoming "peach sauce."

This was sooo delicious, esp now when peaches are in season here. I didn't blanch the peaches, just sliced them and peeled that way. With vanilla ice cream, yum!

I've been making cobblers the past twenty years and by far this was the best cobbler that I've ever made. The consistence of the filling as well as the yummyness of the topping made for an overall excellent eat. You have to follow the receipe inorder for it to come out perfect. Can't wait to make it again.

Totally worthless recipe. Nothing but peach soup = worthless worthless - worthless. Spent $10 on beautiful organic peaches and feed it to the barn cats. Waste of time
