You can create up to five timers

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup sifted cake flour
  • 1/2 cup broken pecan nut meats

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cream together sugar and butter. Stir in 1 egg and add other ingredients. Drop from a teaspoon onto parchment-lined cookie sheets at least 3 inches apart. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Cookies will spread, will be thin and subject to sticking. Remove carefully while still a little warm.

    These are not worth making....Totally flat and just taste like brown sugar.
    However, I highly recommend the Myrna's Hungarian Pecan Cookie recipe available on Food Network. They are absolutely DIVINE.

    What a waste of time and ingredients. Foodnetwork should be ashamed to publish this! Who wants to eat ugly, flat cookies. My kids wouldn't even eat them and they eat just about anything.
