Everybody LOVES this pie! I never use mace, usually I use extra cinnamon for spice and I leave the nuts out, too. Its a very forgiving recipe if you FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. Its my favorite, I will never make a mashed sweet potato pie again!

I made this pie last Thanksgiviing and my whole family loved it. I forwarded the recipe to my a few family memebers in other states and they also loved this recipe.

Easy and just down home comfort. Best Sweet Potato Pie recipe ever. I am cooking 2 as I am typing this.

I used my own crust recipe which we like. The pie was just plain lousy: soupy, no flavor, greasy from the one stick of butter in the topping. Don't waste your time or ingredients with this pie.
