Years ago my mother made these every holiday. She lost the recipe and could never duplicate it. We've been searching and trying different recipes for years. THANK YOU! This is the one we've been missing!

Very easy to make... very pretty with the cranberries and white chocolate... and they were a hit with the family at Christmas. I'll be making these every year now!

I made these toffee bars as part of several different recipes I made for cookie tins to add to gift baskets this year and they went over VERY well. I used milk chocolate instead of white and they were unbelievably good! They were just "fancy" enough to satisfy my friends/family with decadent tastes, yet not over-the-top as to gross-out my friends and family members with plain taste. Highly recommend!

This recipe is very quick and simple to make. I liked that it was a little unusual - using the cranberries and white chocolate. However, I found the taste fairly ho-hum. They do not taste like toffee to me at all. Basically a cookie base with the white chocolate, cranberries and nuts. Not too bad, but not exceptional either.

I tried Mark's cranberry, white chocolate, toffee bars in 2003 after seeing him make this easy recipe on Sara Moulton's Holiday Cookie Extravaganza. They were a big hit! I added it to my Christmas baking list again this year. Both years I have made them without nuts and they're fabulous! A big thanks to Mark and his Mom! Happy Holidays!

I have to admit I was skeptical, but these are better than Starbucks' cranberry bliss bars. We made ours with pecans, which I recommend.

This recipe is unbelieveably quick to make and really delicious. I was impressed at the ease and speed of this recipe. From start to finish 30 minutes.
