I love your music but...I think that we like my burgers better...

I made this dish for myself and my husband and we were both very disappointed. We are big burger lovers and the bourbon in this recipe completely masks the real flavor of the beef. I think the onion soup mix would be better in a meatloaf rather than a burger.

This recipe makes a great burger! Careful though, some onion soup mixes will make this a bit salty, so you might want to back off on the soup mix, or double all the other ingredients. More burgers are a good thing!

These burgers were the best we have had in a very long time. How ever i have to say we did eliminate the booze since we don't drink.

I used 2.5lbs of ground beef instead, and then the rest of the ingredients as listed. I cooked ours on a George Foreman grill for 10 mins, which was too long - only cook them for about 6 minutes. I think would be fantastic on the bbq! Overall, I thought they were good, and will work with this one again.

Me and several of the Montgomery Gentry fan club members have tried these burgers. They are getting rave reviews from all who have tried them! Yummy stuff T-roy!

This was simple to prepare but the recipe is a bit too salty.

I tried this recipe after it aired, because I'm a big fan of Montgomery Gentry, and I just had to try it. The burgers were so good, I love the kick the hot sauce gave to the burgers.
My husband normally doesn't like hot sauce, but he loved these burgers.
Thanks Troy for a great recipe!
