I love these!!! I make them for my children to give to their teachers and dance instructors. They make the perfect gift and are SOOO Delicious!! I also buy Apple Boxes from Box and Wrap. I let my kids decorate the boxes which gives it an extra special touch.

If you want to make caramel chocolate apples fast and easy with out having to cut and roll, buy the Kraft Caramels add 2 tablespoons of water and melt in the microwave. Take your apples and just dip them in the caramel and place on wax paper or aluminum foil sprayed with vegetable spray and place in the fridge for a few minutes. Then dip in the chocolate and add your favorite toppings. It works great and tastes even better.

They should have two different sections... one for taste (I'd give it a 5, and one for difficulty (I'd give it a 2, only because this recipe is a lot more work than you'd think. It's a fun project if you've got a lot of time on your hands.

On a side note: Check the expiration date on your chocolate chips, ESPECIALLY your white chocolate chips (it's harder to tell by looking at them. It doesn't affect their taste, but it drastically affects how they melt. The grocery store sold me chips that were 7 months past the "best by" date on the package, and they ruined three bags of good chips before I figured out what the problem was.
