This is a very good recipe! I noticed some of the reviews suggested not grinding all the orange rind. I only used 1/4 and it turned out simply wonderful! My husband loves this and he is not a fan of cranberries.

The taste was so/so but it was too orangey. The part about finely chopping the orange and putting it all in, rind and all, is what ruined it for me. It came out like an orange marmelade. I had to fish out all the orange peices but couldn't save it.

I'm going to re-do it but use Tyler's recipe of just using some of the orange zest and the fresh squeezed juice.

My family and I have been making this recipe ever since it became available on Foodnetwork. It's excellent! I've made a few changes though without completely comprising the original recipe; first, I coarsely chop the orange and then put it in the food processor after wizzing up the walnuts making 'finely chopping' the orange easier, then I add one whole 8oz. can crushed pineapple and do not drain, neither change to the original recipe make a difference, only make it easier. Seriously, we actually eat this all year long with cottage cheese, etc. It's excellent, you've just got to try it! you'll NEVER eat canned cranberry sauce again!

This cranberry sauce smells outrageous and tastes beautiful. I would definitely recommend this recipe. The cloves made the smell very strong and delicious! :D

I absolutely love this recipe. I used this recipe for Thanksgiving. My family has requested it again for Christmas. If you do not have the "Spoonbread and Strawberry Wine" cookbook, then you really should have it. It is one of my most referenced cookbook.

I never made cranberry sauce or even liked it until I tried this recipe a couple of years ago. It is a easy to make and much better than the canned stuff. Everyone loved it and ask me if I am going to make it again for Thanksgiving. It has become a must at our house. It is delicious!

This has become the item requested for me to bring the last 4 years. I use any leftovers to make cranberry muffins!

I tried this both with and without cloves....The cloves are just too overpowering. It was great without the cloves.
