Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons butter
- 1 pound Maine lobster meat
- 1 teaspoon lobster base
- Splash sherry, for deglazing pan
- 1 quart heavy cream
Directions
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and then add the lobster meat and saute until tender, about 3 minutes. Add the lobster base and cook for 1 minute. Add sherry, and stir to deglaze the pan. Add the heavy cream and cook until heated through.

My husband and I traveled to Freeport and had the pleasure of eating at the Jameson Tavern, we ordered the Lobster Stew and it was wonderful. I hope that I can recreate this dish again with this recipe. Can't wait to try!!!!!!

I live in Freeport and go the the Jameson all the time. I always order the lobster stew and it is amazing and i can't wait to try and make it for myself!

I'm from Maine and the Jameson Tavern makes the best lobster stew out there, I can't belive that it's so simple, or that I would ever have my hands on their secret.
