    My husband and I traveled to Freeport and had the pleasure of eating at the Jameson Tavern, we ordered the Lobster Stew and it was wonderful. I hope that I can recreate this dish again with this recipe. Can't wait to try!!!!!!

    I live in Freeport and go the the Jameson all the time. I always order the lobster stew and it is amazing and i can't wait to try and make it for myself!

    I'm from Maine and the Jameson Tavern makes the best lobster stew out there, I can't belive that it's so simple, or that I would ever have my hands on their secret.

    Found Lobster base at Central Market. Not available at my local Safeway, Albertson's or Fred Meyers.
    Recipe was easy & tasty. It's a keeper.
