I made this recipe last year for Thanksgiving. It was a hit. I was told I needed to bring it again this year.

I found the recipe easy, but a 1 1/2 lb. of cheese way too much. After adding a pound, I stopped. I really think even less (3/4 lb.? would be enough.

Very tasty, a great alternative to plain squash, very quick. I highly recommend this dish!

This was easy to prepare, but the recipe calls for too much bread crumbs! I suggest not putting 1/2 cup of crumbs over the top.

I've enjoyed this recipe as an alternative to the traditional squash casserole recipe. I use yellow squash and zucchini, and cut back on the cheese. I've used cheddar jack to spice it up, and it turned out great. Red bell pepper gives it great color.

I'm not sure why everyone is raving about this squash casserole. This was more like squash fondue. We couldn't taste the squash because there was way too much cheese and I LOVE cheese. Anyway, my recommendation would be to half the cheese.

This was a great way to fix squash! This is not the same old squash casserole my grandma made. So good and cheesy! I didn't have any bread crumbs (we don't do "white carbs" so I crushed up about 3/4 cup of roasted garlic flavored whole grain triscuit crackers and used them instead. It was so good. Yummy yum yum. Not low calorie but definitely good.

What a wonderful dish. It is a marvelous change for a side dish. Even my pickiest eaters loved this dish. Well worth the time.
