I doubled the recepie then baked for almost an hour. I also added a touch a cinnamon. It tasted awesome!

All my guests absolutely loved this dish at Thanksgiving! This was my first time preparing the dinner and even though I had many things to get done, this dish was no problem throwing together.

Tried this for Thanksgiving. After reading all the reviews I decided to do what others said. I used brown sugar instead of regular and used only 1/2 cup. Also used only 1 tsp of vanilla instead of 2 as recipe calls for. Used 1/2 bag marshmallows. Followed everything else exactly and it was very good. Will definitely make again. Thanks for the recipe.

Everyone at Thanksgiving raved about this dish. I didn't have marshmallows so used Emeril's meringue recipe from his sweet potato pie. I could not imagine it being better with the marshmallows. I also candied the pecans by sauteing them with butter and brown sugar. It was perfect!

I got this recipe from this site about 2 thanksgiving ago and this will now be the third time using it. My kids love it, my family loves it, I have made it for potlucks other times and everytime it turns out wonderful and delicious! By far my favorite thing to eat when going for the thanksgiving leftovers.
I add a little pumpkin pie spice to the mix before baking and it makes it yummy.

This recipe was excellent. I tried it for the first time on my family and while it is very sweet and pretty rich, it was fabulous! It would make a great addition to any Thanksgiving dinner where calories are not being counted.
