First off, you only need about 1/2 of this dressing and maybe 3 tomatoes. 5 tomatoes is too many for the suggested amount of beans. Also, the first time I made the dressing, it tasted so oniony, I had to remake it! I would suggest a very small shallot or maybe 1/2 of a larger shallot. Otherwise, the onion taste overwhelms the dressing, and you won't even taste the basil. Once I re-made the dressing, it was a good salad.

This was simple to make and I love that I can make it in advance and eat it later. I did not use as much salt as stated and it was fine. I will make this again.

We had this and it was great! Even my children who do not like green beans liked it. Would be great to bring to a party b/c you can make it before hand and just throw together when serving.

I brought this to a pot-luck BBQ and everyone loved it, even the finicky kids! It has the right blend of seasonings. I didn't use all the dressing, and didn't drizzle the dressing on the tomatoes, but had it available on the side for those who wanted it.

I made this salad for a baby shower, and it was the first dish to go! Everyone loved the dressing! And you can easily double it for large groups!

The dressing for this salad was a tad bit too garlicky for my taste (and I love garlic, but overall I really liked this recipe! My husband loved the basil in the dressing - it gave the dish an extra kick of flavor. Will definitely make again.
