    When I go to the beaches in Mass, this is one of the things I get. I also make something like this at Christmas - I make hot roll mix (I COULD use a roll recipe, but I can't find one I like, and then after rising, I snip off little nuggets of dough and fry them, and serve with syrup. Another thing I do with fried dough is to make taco meat, and assemble on top of the fried dough with lettuce, diced tomatoes, cheese to make an Indian Taco. This is Indian Fry Bread at it's best.

    You can have cake and pies... just give me this fried dough. Fairs try to immitate it but this is truly the real Italian treat!
