Ingredients
  • Margaritas:
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • 1 cup sugar substitute (recommended: Splenda)
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 4 ounces tequila
  • 2 lemons, juiced
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • Garnish:
  • Coarse margarita-style salt, as needed
  • Lemon slices, for garnish
  • Lime slices, for garnish
  • Equipment: 4 old-fashioned glasses
Directions
  • Make the Margaritas: Place all ingredients in a blender and blend on high until smooth, about for 1 to 2 minutes.

  • Run a lemon slice around the rims of the glasses to dampen them; then dip them in a small plate of salt to coat.

  • Pour the margarita into the prepared glasses, and garnish with lemon and lime slices.
