- 1 1/2 cups cream
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- Pinch salt
- 1/4 vanilla bean
- 2 bananas, sliced
- Serving Suggestion: Coffee ice cream or granita
Put all the ingredients in a pot, except the bananas, and bring to a boil. Chill overnight if making ahead of time.
When ready to serve, warm the bisque through and add the sliced bananas. Place ice cream or granite in the center of a shallow bowl and surround it with the warm bisque.
