I love these cookies, they are tasty and easy to make. I made them for Thanksgiving, I put sprinkles on them and they ;ook like I bought them in the bakery, you can een put crushed nuts or coconut.
They are the best sugar cookies I ever made. Will make them for Christmas.

These is the best sugar cookie recipe I've come across. It's easy to make and the cookies are delicious and chewy. I used green & red sprinkles for Christmas cookies. I plan on testing out different extracts in the future as well.

This has been my go to sugar cookie recipe for the past 7 years. I make them every Christmas and sprinkle them with red and green sugar. I make them for parties, I make them just because! I wouldn't change a thing, perfect. Always a hit.

added a pinch of salt and it really brought out the flavor. I also used in addition to regular vanilla, some vanilla paste. I just used a drop of regular milk and didn't bush the tops. Rolled them in different colored sugars and were really great!

I agree that there was an after taste of baking soda. The cookie itself had little flavor. I won't be trying these again.

This is the best sugar cookie recipe ever! I baked in my convection oven with no changes and it was as good as I could possibly wish for.

Thank God I can finally stop looking for the perfect sugar cookie! i am a mom of 3 and every mom needs a fantastic sugar cookie recipe to make all the right memories. this one is definately making it into the Bennett recipe binder. i cant wait to pass this one down. i followed the recipe exactly and even watched the videos for some tips. Deeeeelish. Thanks so much for posting. would not change a single thing.

Absolutely AMAZING!!! I made some variations because I didn't have all the ingredients on hand. I used butter flavored Crisco and 2tbs of water instead of butter. I BARELY used any baking soda because I hate the after taste of it. I followed another reviewer's recommendation and made my own buttermilk with 3 tbs milk and 1 tbs white vinegar. GENIUS! Anyone who made these and had problems was doing it wrong.
SO GOOD!
