Great cookies but you have to watch them because they cook kind of fast!

made these cookies yesterday and they were just what i wanted. thought i had buttermilk but was mistaken so improvised - used coffee creamer - flavored/vanilla - and it worked. also, cooked them on parchment which helped to prevent burned bottoms. one of the things i appreciated the most was that i didn't have to wrap and store in refrigerator - just mix 'n cook.

These were THE BEST sugar cookies I have ever made. The reason why they are crispy and not chewy is because you need to bake them for 5-6 minutes. 8-10 minutes for 375 degrees is WAY too long. Other than that, these are wonderful.

They were tasty, but they were really crispy, not chewy. They also flattened out in the oven, and all the different shapes morphed together into one big cookie! I'm not sure what happened, but I followed the recipe EXACTLY. Strange considering it has five stars...

These are the best cookies i've ever made. They were quick and easy to do with my small children. I used milk instead of buttermilk and they turned out great!

The texture is good, but the taste is pretty bland. Nothing special. I only baked up one dozen to start with, and I'm glad I did--I think I'll experiment with the rest of the dough. I much prefer Gale Gand's snickerdoodle recipe (I found it on this site, but it wouldn't let me post the link....
