These chocolate chip pancakes are so good! I made it with vegetable oil instead of butter and I just used cold milk to shorten prep time.

Second time I made it I used 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup whole wheat flour, and 1/4 cup oatmeal and added some walnuts, and they still tasted really good!

I was looking for a recipe to make pancakes from scratch when I ran across this chocolate chip recipe, I've never heard of chocolate chip pancakes before, but I instantly saved it to my recipe box because I am a chocolate lover, and I somehow knew I would love the pancakes. I usually give my kids a snack before going to bed, so I decided to make this recipe, and it was instantly a hit! Everyone loved them, including myself! My son said, "Mom, I'm gonna have to start eating these pancakes more frequently!" They are so good and better if served warm because then the chocolate chips will be warm and gooey! For younger kids you don't even have to add syrup, but it goes great with warm syrup!!!

I love that the warm milk mixture melted the chocolate chips a little so there were swirls of chocolate throughout the entire pancake. I will make this again and again!

Delicious, easy to make, the children loved it. Enough batter with no left overs.

I know I can not spell but you do not need to cause this recipie is excellent. Just please remember to pour the eggs slowly into the hot milk or else you might end up with scrambled eggs.
