I was skeptical about the whole idea of deep fried ice cream, it was the irony that really got to me. So then i decided i must make this desert! As the process went on I found it to be rather simple and delicious. Well worth the calories!

This was very easy to make! Didn't use the frozen cookie sheet but after we balled the ice cream up in the bread we stuck them in the freezer for about an hour. Used a deep fryer instead.. Soo so so good!!! :

I found this recipe when looking for cincodemayo party ideas. It was SOOOO good that everytime we have a BBQ the first question is "Will u have fried ice cream?" I recommend using an electric fryer for perfection.

Fried Ice cream. My husband thought ...here she goes again. This is absolutely yummy. My guess were surprised and its so easy. Just make sure your ice cream is very hard. I cut mine in squares and froze them ahead of time. It was alot easier that way.

Beware of this recipe....we nearly burned down the house. Upon entering the frozen ice cream ball sandwich things into the oil, I forgot to call upon my chemistry knowledge and realize that the heating oil had superceded its boiling point such that when the ice cream ball sandwiches hit the oil it erupted into a boiling frenzy!!! I tried frantically to keep this boiling ice cream under control, but much to my dismay it flipped over and burst into flames...the ice cream was out of control. Luckily I am quick on my feet and covered the flaming pan with a lid and distinguished the flames. That was the end of the recipe for us. Strangely enough it didnt taste half bad, even without the sugar.
