Amazing!!! I have made several fourless cake, this one is by far the best one. The cake alone is a keeper. The strawberry salsa umbeliveble. Make this recipe and invite 13 of my girlfriends for a coffee. Unanimous, hands dow the best cake on the table!!! It was wonderful, because in this group I have 5 friends that can just eat gluteen free food, so flourless cake worked just perfect! Thank you for sharing such a amazing cake!

I made this cake for my family on Valentine's Day and they all loved it. I followed the instructions and the cake turned out great. It reminded me of a chocolate flan. The cajeta was yummy and the stawberry mixture was a good balance for the sweetness of the chocolate cake. I served it with Kahlua and milk. Delish.

This recipe says to use a pie pan. I don't think that is the best idea. I will try a cake pan next time and Not use the parchment. The cake tastes ok. I made it exactly by the recipe and I think I will change a few things next time.

I made this cake for my friend's birthday party. I should have made a few! It was a hit for the birthday boy and everyone else there! I had a crowd lined up with plates ready for a slice of this beauty. I love to make deserts and am usually the one with the privilege of making something for every get together and this makes my top 5. Beautiful look and the salsa was the perfect balance for the richness of the chocolate. It was also one of the easiest cakes to make. Love it!!

Made this cake for Father's Day. My dad loved it a lot for somebody without a sweet tooth. Everyone enjoyed at out cook-out. Never had I had a disappointment from one of Gale Gand's recipes.

My friend and I made this cake for Christmas. Or at least tried. The cake itself had a wonderful taste and tasted like flourless cake (as I have had it before. However, we thought the cajeta was the right consistency and poured it over the cake when cooled, but realized it hardened like hard candy after pouring it. Also, we had to cook the cake for about an hour to ensure it was done and when we thought it was, it still was gooey on the bottom of the pie pan. We will most likely try it again because normally when we try any recipe the second time, it works right.

used this for my mom's birthday cake and it was gone within the hour. The cake itself being flourless was like eating a piece of cloud and the strawberries accented it nicely. do NOT skip out on the strawberries because they cancel out some of the richness of the chocolate in the cake.. it balances it out beautifully. the recipe is relatively simple considering it looks like something out of a popular dainty french cafe ^-^ the only part i had trouble with is that when i whipped the egg whites, i didn't exactly know what "soft peaks" was supposed to look like... it looked rather frothy but still the cloud consistency was achieved so i'm not complaining! definitely will be checking up on more of Gale's recipes..
