At wgp_728_1545493 I am a fifteen year old with celiac desease. Anything can be made gluten free with ease. I am planning on making these funnel cakes but I might just use my waffle recipe. I would use a flour mix if cooking gluten free I suggest Pamala's Gluten free flour mix. I use this product all the time and the waffles are amazing and that recipe will alter very nicely to the funnel cake recipe.

I made this batter for deep fried Snickers and Oreos and it turned out great. As others have said you may need to add a little more liquid (milk or water to get the consistency you need. We also made a few funnel cakes and will definitely be adding this to our regular party favorites.

This is a great recipe. It was just a little too thick so we added a half cup water. All the neighbor kids were loving them!

did not hold well with larger funnel cake shapes, but did awesome with small, bitesize funnel cakes. batter was hard to put into large shapes; used a spoon for drizzling into oil.

It did not taste like any of the funnel cakes that I have ever eaten what so ever. I hate to say this only because I know how good of a chef Gale is. However, I found this recipe very 'off' if you will. The batter itself was fine, though it was the result that was not tasteful at all.

These were light and fluffy and just right in sweetness. I did add an additional ? c of milk to this and it was still on the thick side. Half of the recipe made about 18 five inch rounds.
