I agree with Amy from CA. I used almonds and pecans and you know how expensive pecans are. I hope she does try them at 275 degrees instead of 375 and lets us know if they turned out better. Meanwhile I'm looking for another recipe.

OK, something is very wrong with this recipe and I am not happy about wasting such expensive food as almonds! I believe the cooking temperature should say 275 instead of 375. That's my best guess. I combined all the ingredients and put them on a greased cookie sheet and they smelled wonderful and I just knew this was going to turn out great. I popped them in the 375 oven and after 15 minutes they were completely burned and smoke was coming from the oven. THat's only half the baking time called for so there must be something wrong with the temperature setting in this recipe. I'm going to try it again at 275 and see if it turns out any better. I'm convinced that the flavors will all taste wonderful together if they can be cooked at the correct temperature.
