These were more like Oatmeal crisps than cookies.

After reading all the other reviews, I decided to test it as a cookie cake instead, only changes to the recipe were those recommended: 1/3 cup honey (instead of 1/4 & 1/4 tsp salt (instead of 1/2 tsp. I also added in in crasins (pre-soaked in hot water & drained. The cookie cake tastes great and was just sweet enough with the honey. Only thing I didn't like was that it was slightly more crumbly than I would normally prefer - I'm going to see if letting it sit for a day or 2 will help it out a bit.

This is a healthier recipe than most I've found for oatmeal cookies. I added raisins, pine nuts and shredded coconut, and it came out thick and chewy (not thin & crispy as I would have expected in the photo. Nice versatile recipe, with a heady aroma of honey!

I made these cookies yesterday, and they are soooo good! I read these reviews before I made them, so I made some adjustments as some other reviewers suggested. I used more honey than stated (1/3 cup, and also added nutmeg, vanilla extract and cinnamon. I used Butterscotch chips, a whole bag...next time I will only use half a bag tho, a whole was way too much. Its funny, the "dough" doesn't look like dough at all! It just looked like a sort of glaze over the oats and chips, and I worried that there wasn't enought substance when I was putting them on the sheetpan. However, they turned out great! They were thin like in the picture, and were crispy around the edges but chewy in the middle. After a day in the cookie jar, they are more just chewy all over but are still delicious!

I made these today and they just came off pretty dull from the first batch. For the second batch I added some cinnamon and vanilla and it seemed to help a little.

These turned-out really well, consistency wise, but they really needed more brown sugar. I sprinkled the tops with a little extra brown sugarbefore baking and they were delicious. A tbsp. or a little more of honey does the trick, too. Yum.

These will add a lot of needed flavor. I would make these again as they are quick and simple to make. Warning though this is more like a cookie cake batter as opposed to the traditional cookie batter. I think of it as an ultra rich oatmeal cookie pancake! Not a bad thing at all...

This is a simple recipe for when you need a cookie in a pinch. I made this for some family visiting America for the first time from India. I didn't have enough oatmeal so I also used Kix cereal and raisins. They loved the cookies.

they were not the best oatmeal cookies i've ever had. I wish they were more lacy like the way the picture showed it.
