There is just something missing in this recipe. I think it may be the lack of vanilla? I added some cinnamon to it even though the recipe does not require it and it did not do the trick...

I baked these cookies for the first time today and they came out amazing! I used 1/3 cup of honey and 1/4 teaspoon of salt instead. The cookies came out perfect with an almost cake-like texture. The honey adds a perfect sweetness and makes them moist and chewy.

Cookies need a little more butter to get them extra CRISPY. And a touch of sugar on top to give them that extra kick!

I thought they were good but i love cinnamon with my oatmeal cookies & I felt these really needed the cinnamon for my families taste but i loved the honey taste.

These are good, homey cookies that, I think, are best straight from the oven (but aren?t all cookies. They spread out quite a lot during cooking, so use a teaspoon of dough or less. Also, watch carefully for burning as the honey and oatmeal tend to let even a slightly burnt flavor come through easily.

They honey was an incredible add to a traditional oatmeal raisin cookie. It gave the cookie a "natural" sweetness and required less sugar than most cookies. The cookies were nice and chewy and were a crowd pleaser.

Added more honey than listed and also added chocolate chips. Still came out dry and crumbly.

I couldn't stop eating them because they were soo good. I added about 2 oz. of chocolate chips, so that there was a chip in every bite. My cookies weren't as flat as her's, but they were still wonderful. I found that it only took 10 minutes to bake, instead of 12.

This is a very easy cookie recipe and tastes really good with the honey. I snuck in dried fruit in the dough and the family never knew!! My teenage son, who doesn't like oatmeal cookies, couldn't stop eating them. I had made chocolate chip cookies at the same time and he chose the oatmeal instead!!
