I'm am thinking of trying this recipe, but kind of curious about something. I'm wondering how it would work adding food coloring to the dough, to make them even more colorful for certain holidays.

Good, pretty, but not very much flavor and not quite sweet enough for our taste.

I made these for my husband's church softball team and everyone went crazy for them. They were a little delicate, but they turned out looking just like Gale's. They were yummy, too... not too sweet. I will definitely make them again this season.

My 7 year old daughter loves to watch the Food Network. One day she was watching Sweet Dreams and was truly excited about making the Pinwheel cookies. So we did. Not only did the cookies taste great but they actually looked like the finished product. We had a ball making them together as well as sharing with our family.
