    Tried this recipe because it comes closest to my mom's marble cake, which she used to make in Germany. It tasted wonderful, was nice and airy, and I'll bake that again really soon!

    I fell in love with this recipe - it's easy to make... with ingredients you have in your pantry. The kids LOVE it and so does every adult who stops by to visit. Thanks for sharing the recipe with all of us :-

    I made this cake for my son's baptism, and was a little disappointed. Although it was nice tasting, didn't find it very moist, although I kept testing it to be sure I didn't over cook it. Will be trying a different one next time.

    I didn't care for this recipe. It lacked flavor and was overall very bland. Will probably end up throwing it away, and trying something new. It was like a pound cake, but not as good, I think I'll stick to my recipe.

    The cake is a wonderful texture and we kept on eating and eating it. We decided it was a little too plain for us and needed something. I drizzled a mixture of confectioners sugar,a little cream,and a drop of coconut extract over the cake. I sprinkled some toasted coconut on and it was great.My husband and I ate the whole cake in two days!!!I want to try the whole thing again and omit all coconut and use vanilla in the frosting next time.Maybe even use mini chocolate chips in the chocolate batter.I can't wait to make it again!

    My family and I were so excited to make this cake, and were disappointed when it came time to taste it. On the third day, however, it was better. I guess I just like my cakes sweeter.

    I loved the coconut and chocolate cake combination! This cake was great, -but it's more like a pound cake than a light and fluffy cake. Plus, be sure to watch the time, -my cake was done in only 55 minutes (20 minutes early. Overall, very tasty!

    A very nice and consistent recipe. The texture and moisture were both very good, and the taste was decent. In many respects similar to our other marble cake recipes. It laks the wow factor to get it to 5 stars.
