It was very good--a solid staple fruit cobbler which was good because the fruit was in season. Nothing special, however.

Fruit portion was fine, but soupy. Next time I would add at least one more tablespoon of cornstarch and a little more sugar. Biscuit topping is bland--would definitely add more of each of the spices.

The reviewer who recommended not adding all the milk at once was completely right - it makes the dough far too wet. When the measurements are fixed, it's a good recipe, though.

Prepared this recipe today, but the instructions indicate you are to knead and roll out the dough to 1/2" thickneess; however, the proportion of flour to milk produced a batter consistency. Might be better to add smaller amounts of milk into flour to ensure doughy consistency. I baked it in batter form and the cobbler had a biscuit-like topping which was good...just not what I had expected!

This recipe is great to take to a party in the summer when the peaches are sweet and in season. It's quick, easy and VERY delicious. Taste your fruit before you add sugar and adjust accordingly. This one is a keeper!
