these cookies are adorable and not really that hard to make but they have no taste, they aren't even sweet. After all that work I was thrilled with the appearance but embarrassed to serve them to guests.

How can you call it a cookie when there is no sugar, Yuk! Re-do the recipe with sugar and I will try them.

I agree with other postings -- this beautiful cookie needs more flavor so the taste matches the look!

1/2 C of sugar per batch PLUS some extract. Vanilla and almond are both good choices, but to go along with the color theme, I thought I'd also recommend cherry (substitute a maraschino cherry for the green M&M and for a second batch, try green sugar and lime extract (harder to find? but I'm not sure about using the juice instead as the acid might throw off the baking chemistry? with the green M&Ms?

I like that this recipe can be quite versatile, and fun for (older? kids also.

The dough was hard to work with. The egg wash only made the red sugar bleed. And on top of it the cookie had no flavor. But they are absolutely adorable. So I would recommend using your favorite sugar cookie recipe and form it into these cute pin-wheels. Other than that these cookies did not impress.

I wanted to make a type of sugar cookie that was diabetic friendly, and this one was the ticket! I added 1/2 cup granulated splenda and 4 packages of stevia to the recipe and it was nicely sweet, not over done. The texture is good too, as long as you don't over role them, or add too much flour. It would not be easy to make the cookie without a heavy stand mixer. I put organic zero on the top of the cookies.

It tasted like a biscuit. When you do COOKIES-let's put in some sugar. Very disappointed.

I think something is missing from this recipe. It has no sugar or flavoring added. I followed the recipe exactly. There is no flavor at all. Is an ingredient missing?
