I love to try recipes that are outside the box. I liked the reviews I read and decided to try it. Boy I am glad I did. It was not hard to make AT ALL. I did add the 1/2 cup sugar and they came out perfectly soft. (I dont care for crunchy cookies myself. I used cookie sticks and added leaves on them as well. I put my cookies in some floral foam in a terra cotta pot and some green paper grass. What a statement it makes. I can't wait to take it to my cookie exchange party. Anyone who has something negative to say about this cookie is just impatient. Please give it a try and you too will fall in love.

I had read some of the reveiws before I made these cookies and am glad that I did. We too added some sugar to the recipe and then really liked them. We added 1/2cup of sugar to the recipe. All my kids really enjoyed making them. They turned out so beautiful. We used different color sprinkles and M&Ms. We did not use the sticks because we wanted to arrange them on a platter. When we put them on a platter they looked so good. We really recommend this recipe. It was fun , tasted good with the added sugar and was a great eye pleaser.

It's a cute idea, but not really worth the trouble. Cutting & folding all those little points was time-consuming and the flavors only ho-hum. Many easier, richer holiday treats available. I won't bother with these again.

These were very time consuming, but they were very pretty. I didn't put them on wooden sticks, but spread them out on a cookie platter. They aren't sweet cookies though and the colored sugar sprinkles are a little deceptive-- some people mentioned that these cookies are a little refreshing than the overkill of sugar most cookies have. I personally like the overkill, but I'll continue to make these cookies because they're so beautiful and they get good reactions!! There haven't been any complaints thus far!

Beautiful cookie, easy to make, but I think the dough needs sugar in it. It is not sweet enough to me with only the decorative sugar on it. Add some sugar (to personal taste to the dough, though, and this one is a winner!

I loved the ease of making and flavour of the cookies themselves(children love them but the best idea I found is to make a hostess gift with them. Instead of popicle sticks I used longer wooden skewers. I took a small flower pot, filled it with floral foam and made a "bouquet". I covered the exposed foam with a little shredded paper "grass". Trimmed with a ribbon bow it made a spectacular looking gift or would even make a pretty centerpiece on a buffet table.
