Ok so the headline is dramatic but, this frosting is sooooo good. I have never made frosting before...ever....I tried this am to make buttercream from another recipe online....it was water. I messed it up *Suprise* however i saw this easy recipe and figured what the heck, it turned out fluffy creamy and went on the cake sooooo smooth. My son will love this thanks so much, off to find a fondant recipe.

    Thanks Gale!!

This icing was soooooo delicious! I am not an icing fan, but when I tasted this, my first thought was...I need a spoonful! It's the aftertaste that actually makes you beg for more! Wow, so easy and yummy. I will never do store-bought icing again. I doubled the recipe to frost a birthday cake, and had plenty for piping and even enough to save for frosting cookies or cupcakes later.

Excellent !! I did refrigerate for just a few minutes before piping. Light and not overly sweet.... you can eat it with a spoon and nothing else! ;o

It is really good. I made a skull cake for my niece. It piped really good .It worked well with colors. I used pink, purple and black. I suggest to use salted butter. Everyone at the party said it was the best icing they have ever had. I will ONLY use this icing from now on. It is the greatest icing ever. The taste is sweet but not wear it makes you have a sugar rush. WE LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, this stuff was amazing! And easy to make! If your trying to do something a little sohpistocated, try adding almond extract instead of vanilla. It is wonderful!

I hate making traditional buttercream for cupcakes. This is so easy and quick! I did cut down on the sugar by 1/2 a cup. It is still sweet, but the kids aren't complaing. I used both tablespoons of cream. It piped beautifully.

This was the first time making homemade butter cream frosting and this recipe set the bar high! Extremely easy and positively delicious. I had to make two batches to frost the layers and the exterior of the cake. One batch is a little too small for a normal sized cake, I definitely recommend this to any one who loves butter cream...and that's pretty much everyone.

This was a very quick, easy and good tasting buttercream for a novice baker like myself. I didn't think it was going to make that much but there was more than plenty to frost almost 3 dozen (triple chocolate cupcakes. It got rave reviews. I'll definitely make this again.
