These are very good...but they're missing cream of tartar, which is usually in Snickerdoodle recipes. I added about 3/4 tsp. and they tasted very good.

This is by far the BEST snickerdoodle recipe I've ever come across. The cookies are chewy and delicious.

I was looking for a snickerdoodle recipe without the shortening. After viewing several, I decided upon this and 1 other recipe. These cookies turned out perfect in taste and texture. I mailed the cookies 1 day after I baked them. They arrived in perfect shape and taste! The other recipe I tried left the cookie too soft and crumbly to mail. This recipe is a winner!

These cookies are turning out crumbly, hard and still in the ball I put on the pan. Made them twice (first time was with lite butter--we all make mistakes... but today was to the letter, and yet, another fiasco!

I added a bit of nutmeg to my batter and a bit more cinnamon then it called for. These cookies were crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I tried doubling the size of the dough balls as a previous review said to, but found the cookies did not bake all the way through and were raw in the middle. Making them walnut-sized and baking for 12 minutes worked perfectly.

I only made these because one of my other recipes fell through. It must have been fate!! These are now my favorite cookies!! I followed the recipe exactly, and they came out great.

OMG - these cookies are TO DIE for! So easy to make! A few things I changed: I substituted honey for the corn syrup, put them in the fridge for only about 45 minutes (I was too impatient, haha!, rolled them into golf-size balls, and baked them for 10.5 minutes. PERFECT COOKIES. There probably won't be any left for my fiance when he gets home tonight because I'm going to eat them all!!!!! A MUST TRY RECIPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
