I tried this recipe last night for today's super bowl party. I tasted the cream when it was done. I can say it's the best tiramisu recipe I've ever used. The cream isn't too rich, but with nice and wonderful flavor. My picky husband just loved it!

I just served this at a pot luck here for work... the raves just wouldn't stop! Everyone was so impressed, they all took second helpings. They've all asked for the recipe, saying this was easily the best tiramisu they'd ever had. I followed the recipe to the letter, and had no problems with it whatsoever.

Delicious!!!! 1000% Absolutely better than at a nice restaurant!!!! One tip though- just be careful about soaking the lady fingers, don't soak just do a quick quick dip, or try to brush on the espresso so that the lady fingers don't get soggy and that's it folks, happy cooking!!!!

I have made this recipe a couple of times and it always comes out well. The difficulty is all of the steps involved. Very time consuming. I will try omitting gelatin next time to see how it turns out since people are having luck with doing that. Also, I use more lady fingers than called for. The lady fingers only need a quick dip in the kahlua/espresso mixture, otherwise they are too soggy and the whole tiramisu becomes overpowered with alcohol.

I was amazed at how this recipe turned out! I read the reviews and took the advice of those suggesting not to use the gelatin and to quickly dip the ladyfingers into the espresso/kahlua. By doing this, the texture was exactly like many restaurant Tiramisus, and quite honestly, I believe the taste was better! It was a definite hit by all those who tried it! I believe the key in making this is in the whipping of the egg yolks and egg whites. The tiramisu was creamy, light and kudos to the author and creator of this wonderful dessert!

I made a few times, and one for my niece engagement. The recipe is expensive and time consume, but the result is so delicious. It all worth for your time, and money. Gale is a great desert chef. My niece keeps asking for the desert, and I plan to make again this Christmas.

I made this for my brother's birtday and it was a hit! Expensive and time consuming but well woth it. My only problem was the ladyfingers turned to mush in the expresso mixture so I tossed those and made my layer with dry ladyfingers and sprinkled the liquid on top. I think it gave the tiramisu good texture. I also made more filling that the recipe called for and it worked out well. I layered the tiramisu in a triffle bowl and it was a beautiful presentation and it tasted GREAT. WONDERFUL REVIEWS FROM THE WHOLE FAMILY!!

All I can say is this was are first attempt on Tiramisu and it was great. The only thing we did wrong was getting are lady fingers to moist.A quick flip would of been better. It will give it a thicker texture.I did not use the gelatin after reading the reviews.

I just made this dessert this evening and I ran into the "glumpy" egg mixture problem previous reviewers mentioned. I followed the recipe just like it said but alas. I can't help but wonder if maybe using a little less gelatin would have worked better. It tasted good, but the glumpy texture was none too inviting.
